Look at me! I proceeded to yelp, the bowls fell and a few hundred dollars later (the pattern was now out of production..sigh...) we had bowls again..Is your extension table plexiglass? In the sign business (where I grew up) my dad used chloroform in a syringe to build showcases, signs, fixing fridges for customers, etc with acrylics. You could try a window shop or sign shop and see if they could help or I can give you details on the procedure if you are interested in trying yourself.
