TGIFF! - Growing Up Is Easy To Do

It's TGIFF! time. Yay! First off, I seem to be having some issues today with Blogger and the text wrapping feature so sorry for the extra white space all over the place. As I mentioned on Wednesday, I made a growth chart for my niece Sophie this week. This time I went a little more modern. And white. Gasp!
When I shared my boys' growth charts back in May, I offered to put together a tutorial if folks were interested. You were. Yay!

I documented the process with Sophie's growth chart and I'll share the tutorial as part of the Let's Get Acquainted Blog Hop. This blog hop, organized by Beth of Plum and June is a fun way to meet bloggers who started in 2011 and 2012. So many great new blogs and awesome tutorials to check out. My day on the blog hop is July 31 and I'll be sharing the details on how I made it then.

I'm very happy to say that my niece and sister love it. Phew! And, I was actually able to finish it and deliver it to my niece without bleeding on it in some freak quilting accident or spilling something on it. That alone deserves some celebrating, don't you think?

Happy Friday!

  3. I did finish a bag for my daughter's birthday...not quilting though.
Friday evening I am taking what I have deemed the "stupid quilt" to sit n' sew at the quilt shop. Still wondering if I am ever going to get this one done, hence my name for it.

  14. What a terrific growth chart! The fabulous thing about this is that it can be taken everywhere the family lives instead of being lost in a move.
