Now, I'm thinking about the border and considering these options:
1) Kona Purple:
2) Kona Eggplant:
3) Kona Tulip:
4) Kona Berry:
5) Kona Dark Violet:
7) Mix of medium value purples:
Decisions, decisions! Which purple do you prefer?
I'm linking up to WIP Wednesday at The Needle and Thread Network and to W.i.P. Wednesday at Freshly Pieced. Thanks Monika and Lee for hosting such great linkies!
What are you working on this week?
This looks so cool! I like Kona purple or Kona Berry ;)
ReplyDeleteI like the mix of medium values as it carries the design out into the border. Great work!
ReplyDeleteHonestly, I like them all. But if I went with the mix of values, I might be tempted to add a border to it... that would defeat the purpose. As for single colour, maybe the first one has a sight edge... The Eggplant, Berry, and Magenta seem closer to the Radiant Orchid theme, if that's what you are going for but don't let the Pantone police dictate your quilting decisions...
ReplyDeleteI love the Kona Eggplant version. I think it sets off the blocks the best by providing a bit of contrast. The mixed border seems a bit too busy to me, and not enough contrast.
ReplyDeleteI am a fan of the purple or the dark violet. Really like what you are putting together!
ReplyDeletelove the blocks! tough choice on the borders - i really like the eggplant, dark violet and purple.
ReplyDeleteoh wow - so hard to choose! I kind of like the Berry or the mixed, tho I agree - any would be lovely! Loving this!
ReplyDeleteI really like the mixed- these blocks are wonderful!
ReplyDeleteThey all look good, but the scrappy one is my favorite. Love the orange strips you have added, they make everything pop!
ReplyDeleteMix!
ReplyDeleteI say Kona Eggplant :-) I prefer those with red undertone.
ReplyDeleteEggplant gets my vote also!
ReplyDeleteI really like the first one - Kona Purple, or the mix of purples.
ReplyDeleteOh they look so pretty! I vote either purple or a mix!
ReplyDeleteKona Purple looks great
ReplyDeleteI like the last one best.
ReplyDeleteI LOVE purple:) I think I like the eggplant or the mix at the end.
ReplyDeletepurple or eggplant (1 or 2). The project looks great so far!
ReplyDeleteI definitely like the blocks better with the warmer purples added- they look fantastic. For the border, my preference would be to go back cooler- either purple or dark violet.
ReplyDeleteSeven... i pick seven. I love the use of the different purples. Please pick seven.
ReplyDeleteI like the Dark Violet. It provides a nice framework for all those colors! :)
ReplyDeleteWow, what a great decision to have! I have to say I love both the purple and the dark violet. They both show off your blocks and strips beautifully. Can't wait to see what you choose.
ReplyDeleteFull of purple deliciousness!
ReplyDeleteI like either #1 or 2 the best. They make the bits and pieces pop! Love the quilt too... definitely my style >>>
ReplyDeleteStriking! I vote for the mix.
ReplyDeleteIt looks great and I live the mix; especially how you carried the orange strips out to the border.
ReplyDeleteThis is really really awesome!
ReplyDeleteI like the Purple # 1. And - boy, somebody sure flaunting her Kona Solids now!! :D
ReplyDelete(Just gentle ribbing there, nobody jump on me please.)

ReplyDeleteI like Kona Purple best it is that bit darker shade.
ReplyDeleteKona purple all the way.
ReplyDeleteI like Kona purple an Kona dark Violet. I am looking forward to see how you quilt this one!
ReplyDeleteI vote for dark violet or the mix. Purples have never looked so good!
ReplyDeleteThese are super fun! I missed your last post about these blocks, so I'm going to have to go back and read it. I really like the Kona Purple, but whatever you choose, it will end up beautiful.
ReplyDeleteI like the Kona Purple, and the mixed values best. The pops of orange are very cool!
ReplyDeleteThis modified block process is really cool and in purple... :) I like the mix.
ReplyDeleteLooks great! I like the first one and the last one.
ReplyDeleteKona Tulip or Medium mix. I'm sure whatever you choose it will be stunning (as usual)!!!
ReplyDeleteKona Purple, definitely an unpieced border. You have many purples! And it makes me think of a city at dusk......
