Snowflakes, Snowflakes Everywhere

Happy New Year, all! I was hoping to be back yesterday, but Mother Nature had other plans and the kids got an extra day of Christmas break. More ice than snow this time, but I made a snowflake block so that's today theme. This is the December block for Sheila in my Simply Solids Carmine group. I absolutely adore this block, but it isn't for the faint of heart. There was much unsewing. I left the extra so Sheila can trim it to fit with the other blocks. This was made with Kona Cerise, Red, Flame, Orange, Kumquat and Papaya. And you know how I know that? 'Cause I got a Kona colour card for Christmas. It's just so purdy.
