The 2014 Pantone Quilt Challenge with On The Windy Side and Play Crafts is on and the last day to link up is tomorrow! I'm entering Purplelicious to the mini category.
If you haven't met Purplelicious before, let me introduce you.
Purplelicious has many shades to its personality. There's plenty of beautiful Radiant Orchid. Purplelicious values its darker and lighter sides too. It's a complex mix of fruits and flower colours -- eggplant, hibiscus, berry, mulberry, tulip, cerise, violet, lavender. It's a bit of a free spirit though and refuses to be tied down to just one colour. Purplelicious teases us with pops of white, grey, red and some, dare I say it, Tangerine!
In addition to hanging out in my kitchen, Purplelicious enjoys long skates on the Rideau Canal;
Making snow angels;
Basking in brisk frigid winter sunsets;
And getting up close and personal. xo
Thank you to Adrienne and Play Crafts, as well as the sponsors, for putting together this great challenge!

ReplyDeleteWonderful! Very colorful!
ReplyDeleteWhile I have stood on the ice at the 4.4 km marker of the Rideau I have never done so with a fabulous purplicious quilt. I love it......and I'm not a 'purple person'.

This is gorgeous! (I sure wish we weren't in the same category....)
ReplyDeleteStill love this quilt. Good luck with the Challenge.
ReplyDeleteLove purple!
ReplyDeleteLovely!
ReplyDeleteThis is downright gorgeous. Those strips of gold and orange and red are the perfect accent to the lovely purplicious background. And the blips of grey add just the right amount of depth. There's so much to look at in this quilt! The subtle shading from the various purples add some great texture as well. Wonderful!!
ReplyDeletePurplicious indeed! And I'm not a purple person...but you might be turning me into one with this quilt, it is just gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteLove all the different shades of purple, and those sparks of red and orange really shine!
