Night Flight - A Finished Top

Quick Fix > Quick Scraps > Quick Top! Well, I couldn't get that strip of HSTs out of my head so I ended up sticking with those Kona scraps from Quick Fix and pairing it with some Kona Charcoal. Very, very happy with the piecing -- most of the points actually meet! :D

Now I'm playing with the placement of the strip.

Leaning (ha ha) towards asymmetry:

More negative space:

Centred:

Still more negative space:

Opinions always welcome!

  7. I agree with Nicky - I like the last one too. THe strip of HSTs sits perfectly with the charcoal.

  8. Last one. This is gorgeous and since I'm not a solids person, I'm dreaming of something similar with Alison Glass's new sunprint line, with the grey on the narrow side a bit darker than the wide side.

  15. Simple. Colorful and very modern. Speaks a lot without having a lot. I like any way aside from being in the center... love the geese though! Favorite part of this!

  19. The colours are fabulous against that grey. I would opt for any asymetrical layout.
