TGIFF! - School's Out!

School's out and Camp Mommy begins today. Yay! Gulp! First on the agenda, strawberry picking. Is there anything better than fresh picked strawberries? We dip them in sour cream or yogurt and then brown sugar. Bliss!

My TGIFF!s for this week are the teachers' and bus driver gifts I made this past week.

These lunch bags were made using Ayumi Mills' @ Pink Penguin's fabulous tutorial. I made some last year and couldn't resist making them again this year.

And some coasters, made using the Super Duper 5 Minute Coaster tutorial by Laura @ Quokka Quilts.

I still have a few lunch bags to make for Micah's teachers. Then, I can get back to my trees...

I'm linking up with TGIFF!, which is being hosted by Gemma @ Pretty Bobbins in New Caledonia! She's made a gorgeous bag and travel sewing kit. I've got to make me one of those! Check out the great finishes and feel free to link up one of your own!

Happy Friday and have a great weekend!

  1. Those are really cute!

My boys are in university (one doing his masters, the other his undergrad) so school was out quite some time ago - but I remember Camp Mommy from all those years ago, and boy do I miss it. :)

  2. What lucky teachers! Your gifts are lovely.

Camp Mommy is over for me too - wish I'd had a blog in those days - it would be lovely to have that kind of record about what we did together in the holidays!

  8. I love, love, love the dragonfly bag!! We still have a couple of weeks until school holidays, I keep promising the kids I will teach them to sew, but at 1.5, 3.5 and 5.5 years it gets a bit daunting (for me!) LOL Thanks for linking up and enjoy having your kids home for the holidays :)
