Works in Progress Wednesday - June 20, 2012

School's almost out so I've been busy trying to make the kids' gifts for their teachers and bus driver, as well as finishing up a few non-quilting projects before Camp Mommy begins.

New Projects:
Teacher Gifts: I'm making some of these fabulous lunch bags by Ayumi of Pink Penguin and some of two tone coasters. Some are done already, which is a good thing, because school's out on tomorrow! I'll share them on Friday once they are all done. Now to pick up a few Tim Hortons gift cards...

Completed Projects: None

Current Projects:

Seeing the Forest for the Trees Quilt - Six more blocks done. Loving this pattern more and more!

Modern Block Monday Sampler - This week was Sea Glass Steps by Louise Papas.

Selvage pincushions - No progress.

Spiral/Spring seta colour
Wedding quilt
Nine patch colourwash

Have a great Wednesday, everyone!

  1. I can't wait to see how your lunch bags turned out! I am looking for a good pattern to make myself one.

  2. Love that you have a bucket list of 40!! Everything looks so great. Your sea glass block is perfect!I can hardly wait to get started on my trees, although it will have to be a late summer or fall project!

  3. I love, love, love your modern block - the colors are lovely.

  4. I do like the colours of your Modern Block Monday. It will be nice to see all your tree blocks together.

  5. I too, like that sea glass block! I sorta suspect in a to do list of 40, it may be awhile til we see the whole quilt compiled?

  6. My last child just finished high school - I'm soooo glad. Hope you'll have some time to quilt with the kids at home. I made mine help with housework if they bothered me once I managed to sit down at my sewing machine, worked a treat....
