Table for...Eight?

Happy Monday, all! I finished the placemats for the Ottawa Modern Quilt Guild silent auction tonight. I backed each one with a different colour and quilted each one with a different motif. Great practice!

Fronts:

Backs: The colour in the photo is not quite right, but you get the idea.

I'm trying to decide if I should list them as one set of eight, two sets of four or four sets of two. Thoughts?

Also, anyone know of any good April Fools jokes to play on kids? I'm itching to prank my three little wild things tomorrow morning. A friend suggested switching the kids in their beds so they wake up in each other's beds so we may try that.

Have a great Monday, all!

  2. Try sets of two. If someone wants 4, they will buy two sets! I love the idea of switching them in their beds. What fun!

  3. I forgot to say how much I like those place mats. You are inspiring me to make some for my table. I like the simple, modern aesthetic that looks complex due to the color and placement of the stripe.

  10. I also vote 2 sets of 4. Great idea to use them as quilting practice, I always make sandwiches of scraps to practice on but now will be making place mats!

  13. I love them!! Again 2 sets of 4...lol. This is the most practical way to practice; but you don't need the practice.....

  14. two sets of four, but only because it is a fundraiser, and you will get more money that way. These are wonderful, and I need to go copy you now...

  16. The place mats are gorgeous, which is something I don't often say about place mats. I like that you did different quilting on each one. I bet that they sold well at the auction.
