Works in Progress Wednesday - March 6, 2012

Can it possibly be any nuttier around here? The hubster is away on a business trip so I took all three munchkins to Beavers last night. About all I can say is that it could have been worse. ;) Earlier this week, I set myself a challenge to finish the series I started this past week for this Friday's TGIFF! I'm hopelessly behind in my blog reading. Plus, I woke up today with the bug the kids have been passing around. Lovely. Oh, and I realized yesterday that March Break for the kids starts Friday, not a week from Friday. How did I lose a whole week?

I figure that if I just keep moving, things will sort themselves out -- something like by not looking directly at the chaos, we may be saved from it? Does that actually work?

New Projects: Four - one is already done (see Semaphore in the Completed Projects section below) and the other three -- all part of a series -- are almost done and will be shared on Friday, when I host TGIFF! Get those finishes ready to share, folks!

The remaining three in the series
Completed Projects: Two

Colour My World Purple Challenge: My purple piece/mini quilt is done and I'm still so excited about this finish.

Semaphore: This was my entry into Ellison Quilts' Modern Mini Challenge. The minis that were selected as finalists are so fabulous that I'm not disappointed that I didn't get selected. I exercised my right to vote on the winners. Have you?

Current Projects:
Colour My World Black - Oh boy! I shared a bit of info last night about this month's colour. Now to figure out what I want to do. This one is going to be tough. Any and all ideas are welcome!

Modern Block Monday Sampler - This week was Binary by Angela Pingel. Love!

Wee Spy quilt - Still done. Maybe next week's TGIFF? :)

FMQQAYGQAL/QAYGFMQQAL - I did the next four designs! We're half way through this fun QAL.

On Hold/UFO Mash-up:
Chop Suey
Wee Spy quilt
Red and Tan Amish Wedding Ring
Spiral/Spring seta colour
Wedding quilt
Nine patch colourwash
