Works in Progress Wednesday - November 15, 2011

Wretched Wednesday. Well, it's not really Wednesday that is wretched, it's just how I'm feeling today. I've been trying to outrun something since Monday, but I hit the wall last night. Ugh! Sore throat, icky cough, body aches, etc. I hate being sick. I'm a total wuss about it too. Bleh! Anyways...

A few people commented how much they liked my rationalization last week of quilting over laundry. Well, upon reading my blog post, the hubster pointed out (with humour and only a smidge of sarcasm) that the kids can't wear quilts to school. Hmmm, he may have me there. Lots of laundry got done this weekend. That said, I am tempted to tell the kids that wearing clothes inside out is a cool fashion statement so we get an extra wear out of their clothes. ;)

The terrific Tabatha of Bending Pins is hosting TGIFF! this Friday. I hope you come check out the beautiful finishes and link up one of your own, if you have one. Check out the TGIF Friday! site for more details.

As I mentioned on Monday, I did get a chance to clean up my studio this weekend and I found more WIPs/UFOs! Aack! How can there possibly be more!? *Hanging head in shame* Well, I brought them into this world so I will be accountable for them - they've been added to my list below and I'll tell you more about them in the coming weeks.

New Project: No, I need to finish something from that danged WIP list.

Completed Projects: One - my little obsession from last week, Season's Greetings, is done. Yay!

Current Projects:
Just Me and My Peeps- Working on the backing and made the binding. Nothing exciting to show.

  1. Love your Bargello quilt. I have often thought of trying one, but always thought they would be too difficult. I just might have to rethink that since you said it was quite easy.
