Works in Progress Wednesday - February 15, 2012

My back's getting better, but it's meant that there hasn't been much quilting going on since Thursday. :( I can now bend down without crying though so I'll take what I can get. :)

New Projects: One - I did a sketch for my Colour My World Purple Challenge and started pulling fabrics. Now, I'm no artist, but this is a sketch of what I'm aiming to do in purple. It's going to be 14.5" square unfinished. I'm going to try to use the collage technique that I learned in Elaine Quelh's workshop last month. I'm a little nervous because I think this is something that could look really good...or really not good. I'm hoping for good though.

Completed Projects: Not one but TWO finishes - Woo hoo!
Just Me and My Peeps - I mentioned this one last week, but here's the Full Monty photo. For those here from W.I.P. Wednesday, here's my post on this finish with lots of gratuitous photos.

Tangled Garden - This is the project I pledged to finish for the Quilting is Murder UFO challenge. Finished it barely in time, but it's done!

Current Projects:
Modern Block Monday Sampler - This week was Boxed In by Faith Jones.

Micah's Growth Chart - No progress.

Chop Suey - Another bit of leader/ender piecing.

On Hold/UFO Mash-up:
Wee Spy quilts - 2
Red and Tan Amish Wedding Ring
Spiral/Spring seta colour
Wedding quilt
Nine patch colourwash

  1. I love your Just me and my peeps quilt, I have been hoarding that fabric for months, but will definitely have to do something with it now that I have seen your quilt. Your FMQ is great too!
